Andrea Hurley joined the staff of Mountain Valley Insurance on August 15, 1992 as a co-op student. She continued with the agency after graduation as a customer service representative, and became manager of the Barbourville office and assistant manager of all locations in April 2008. She obtained her B.S. in Business Administration from Union College in 2003. Andrea holds a Property & Casualty license (since 1995), a CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation and a CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation. She is an active member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Kentucky (IIAK) and served on the IIAK Membership Benefits Committee from 2007-2010 and currently serves on IIAK's Education Committee. Andrea resides in Barbourville, KY with her husband Rusty and daughter McKenzie. Andrea enjoys walking, shopping, reading and spending time with family and friends. She is a member of Beacon Baptist Church in Barbourville. Active in the Angel Tree Program for underprivileged children and other community activities.

Angela Minton joined the staff of Mountain Valley Insurance in 1982 as a personal and commercial lines customer service representative in the Barbourville office. She was integral in expanding the agency's operations to London and managed that office from 1993-2007 when she began working from home after her husband was seriously injured. Widowed in 2010, Angie returned to work traveling between the offices in Barbourville, London and Manchester as needed. Angie has earned both the CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) and CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designations. Angie resides in London with her daughter Lindsey and son Austin. She volunteers in the Laurel County Public Schools and is a member of the North Laurel Middle School PTO. Angie attends Corinth Baptist Church and enjoys camping, hiking, and boating with her family.

Bobbie J. Sams joined the staff of Mountain Valley Insurance in 2010 after retiring from the Clay County Board of Education where she served 27 years. Bobbie obtained her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation in 2011 and is working toward obtaining her Property & Casualty license. She has been a Kentucky Colonel since 1986 and is an active member of Greenbriar Presbyterian Church where she helps lead the Children's Church and participates in Catering Briars. Bobbie resides in Manchester with her husband Jerry and four children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and reading.

Diana Hunt joined the staff of Mountain Valley Insurance in 1978 as a customer service representative.  She worked her way up to eventually becoming part owner and President of the agency in 1992.  She and her partner sold the agency to First State Financial on April 1, 2008 and she remains on as Vice President as well as serving on the First State Financial Board of Directors.  Diana holds a Property & Casualty license, a Life & Health license and a CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation.  She is a past president of the Professional Insurance Agents of Kentucky (PIA) and has received numerous industry awards including PIA Agent of the Year in 1997.  Diana currently serves on the IIAK (Independent Insurance Agents of Kentucky) Board of Directors, as well as IIAK’s Education Committee.  Diana resides in London with her husband Randal and step daughter Taylor.  Her daughter Laura is the manager of the London office of Mountain Valley Insurance.  Diana enjoys jogging, golfing, cooking and spending time with her family.  She is a member of Grace on the Hill United Methodist Church in Corbin and is active in community programs for underprivileged children.

Donna Sue Wyrick has been with Mountain Valley Insurance since 1985.  She started working in the insurance industry in 1981 as a Co-Op student with Clay Insurance Agency.  She became a licensed agent in 1988, earned the CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation in 1992 and the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 2001.  She is a member of the Clay County Chamber of Commerce, Donna and her husband Jerry have one daughter, April, with whom Donna enjoys spending time.  She is a member of Greenbriar Evangelical Presbyterian Church and enjoys working with vacation bible school and their Greenbriar Catering program.

James Arnett has been a licensed insurance agent since 1973. He joined the staff of Mountain Valley Insurance in September of 1985. James attended Cumberland College 1969-1971. He holds both the CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) and the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designations. He was a member of the Clay County Kiwanis Club and is current a member of the Clay County Optimist Club as well as Clay County/Manchester Chamber of Commerce. James attends Greenbriar Evangelical Presbyterian Church where he participates in the Praise Team.

Kelly Asher has been with the London office of Mountain Valley Insurance since fall 2010. She attended Eastern Kentucky University and has five years of customer service experience. Kelly is currently working on obtaining her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation. Kelly loves Karaoke, music trivia and traveling/visiting new places. She recently married Darrell Asher and has a 3 yr. old stepson named Brody.

Kim Wilburn has been with Mountain Valley Insurance since 1994. She earned her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation in 1998 and her CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 2002. Kim graduated from Union College in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Management. Kim is an active member of the Kentucky Young Insurance Professionals (KYIP) and serves on their Community Involvement committee. Kim is an avid runner and enjoys cooking, traveling, and is a certified scuba diver.

Laura Yount joined the staff of Mountain Valley Insurance in December 2003, shortly after graduating from the University of Kentucky. She obtained her Property & Casualty license in 2005 and also holds CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) and CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designations. Laura manages the London location and is assistant manager of all agency locations. She currently serves on the Kentucky Young Insurance Professionals (KYIP) Committee as well as chairing the KYIP Government Affairs Committee. She has received the Chairperson's Award for her work with the KYIPs for two consecutive years. Laura annually attends the Independent Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA) National Legislative Conference in Washington, DC to lobby on behalf of independent agents and insurance issues. She also serves on the IIAK (Independent Insurance Agents of Kentucky) Education Committee and Government Affairs Committee. Laura resides in London with her husband David and their four dogs. She is a member of Grace on the Hill United Methodist Church.

Monika Lynn Hole has been with Lexington Office of Mountain Valley Insurance since 2002. She earned her CISR (Certified Insurance Services Representative) in 2004 and CIC in 2008 (Certified Insurance Counselor).  Prior to joining MVI she worked at Monumental Life Insurance, and also for Prudential Insurance Co. Monika lives in Anderson County with her husband Alan and they are involved with raising money to improve wildlife habitat and introducing the outdoors to others through the National Wild Turkey Federation Events.

Paula Cole has been working at Mountain Valley Insurance since 2010. She has thirteen years of customer service experience and has earned forty hours of college credit toward her degree. Paula is currently working to obtain her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation. Paula lives in Manchester with her son Camden. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Rachel Liford joined Mountain Valley insurance in November 2007. She obtained her B.S. in Business Administration from University of the Cumberlands in May 2006. Rachel received her Property & Casualty license in March 2009 and also holds CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) and CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designations. She is an active member of the Kentucky Young Insurance Professionals (KYIP). Rachel serves on the KYIP Government Affairs Committee and attended the IIABA (Independent Agents & Brokers of America) National Legislative Convention this year to lobby on behalf of independent agents and insurance issues. Her hobbies include community outreach projects, running, and spending time with her cats.

Robert joined the staff of the Lexington office in 2012, after previously working in the life insurance field. He has been a licenesed life agent since 2011 and is curently working on his CIC and CISR designations. Robert attended Sullivan University and was a chef for over 15 years working from Kentucky to Wyoming and in between. Robert is married and has a 9yr. old daughter. He is a Deacon at Southside Baptist church and heads up the children's ministry, audio/visual ministries and is the church liaison for the Elkhorn Baptist Association. He loves cooking, traveling, working with his hands and being a dad
